An operation to assist the crew of a Russian cargo ship grounded off the coast of Falmouth, Cornwall, began on Tuesday.
Footage shows the moment a coastguard is lowered from a search and rescue helicopter onto the vessel, before assisting the Harbour Pilot onboard the ship, who is tasked with the job of helping manoeuver the ship out of its grounded position.
The 16,000 tonne Kuzma Minin, which had 18 members of crew on board, had been dragged towards the shore by rough waters and high winds. It reportedly has no cargo onboard.
An attempt at re-floating the vessel will be made later on Tuesday, according to reports.
