British Comedian Involved in FIFA Prank Charged With Trespass

Sepp Blatter might get the last laugh after all. Just days after the embattled FIFA president was caught on camera being showered in fake money at a press conference for the world soccer organization, the British comedian at the center of the prank has been arrested and charged by Swiss authorities. Simon Brodkin – who goes by the name Lee Nelson – stormed the stage on Monday, throwing bundles of fake dollar bills over Blatter and claiming that it was "for North Korea in 2026" before being dragged away by security. A Zurich City Police spokesperson said on Wednesday, "We arrested this man and he was interrogated and released yesterday."
