Yemen's Ministry of Defense headquarters were targeted in the latest Saudi-led airstrikes in Sanaa, Tuesday, leaving the building badly damaged. It is unclear at this stage if their were any casualties as a result of the airstrikes. Consultations aimed at stemming the ongoing violence and humanitarian crisis currently unfolding in Yemen are set to take place in Geneva on June 14 and will involve major figures on all sides of the conflict. Over 2,000 people have been killed in the country since the Saudi Arabian-led airstrike campaign began on March 26. Over 20 million civilians are in need of humanitarian assistance according to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA). According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), 53 health facilities are closed and malnutrition is increasing as more than 15 million Yemeni citizens do not have access to basic healthcare.
