Israeli forces attacked a group of about 350 Palestinian protesters with tear gas, rubber bullets and live rounds in Ramallah, Tuesday, in scenes that witnessed tyres burning and protesters carrying the injured to nearby Red Cross emergency ambulances. A stand off at the Qalandiya military checkpoint in Ramallah turned violent with 25 Palestinians injured after Israeli forces shot 10 protesters with rubber-coated steel bullets and another five with live rounds, according to the Red Crescent medical agency, which also accused Israeli forces of shooting at an ambulance near Beit El. The Palestinian Ministry of Health and Red Crescent medical agency announced that over 129 Palestinians were injured across the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem on Tuesday, bringing the number of total injured Palestinians since Saturday to 600, including 50 that were shot with live rounds by Israeli forces.
