21.09.2017
Greenpeace activists stormed the Port of Sheerness in Kent, Thursday, to protest the import of Volkswagen diesel vehicles from Germany.
The activists climbed and hung from the unloading doors of a 23,000-tonne transport ship near the port, demanding that the vehicles it carries are returned to Germany.
Furthermore, around 40 activists scaled the port's vehicle park, placing stickers on the engines of diesel Volkswagen vehicles and attempting to immobilise the vehicles by removing their keys.
