Supporters of WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange gathered in front of Westminster Magistrates' Court in London ahead of the Australian-Ecuadorian's second arrest warrant appeal on Tuesday.
The court rejected the appeal and upheld Assange's arrest warrant after a judge said the whistleblower apparently 'holds himself above the law.'
The supporters remained outside the court in hope of a comment from one of Assange's defence team, however, no one appeared.
Assange has been residing in the Ecuadorian embassy in London since 2012 with British police waiting outside, ready to arrest the WikiLeaks founder for breaking his bail conditions. He has since been granted Ecuadorian citizenship.
