Juventus and Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal's Ferrari was destroyed beyond repair after the football star was involved in a high-speed crash in Santiago, late on Tuesday. The 28-year-old footballer, who was allegedly drunk at the time of the crash, was arrested following the accident. After being released from police custody, Vidal attended a court on Wednesday morning where he had his licence revoked after being found guilty of drink-driving. Whilst managing to avoid a prison sentence, the Juventus star must report to the Chilean consulate in Milan each month when he returns to Italy for the new season. The crash reportedly took place as Vidal and his wife Maria Teresa Matus were driving home from a casino. Vidal suffered minor bruising and was treated, along with his wife, at the San Luis de Buin hospital in Santiago. According to a police report, three vehicles were involved in the incident but the condition of the other parties involved is currently unknown. The Chilean national football team have decided not to suspend Vidal, who is the current top goal scorer in the Copa America 2015, with three goals in two games.
