UK: Thousands welcome Welsh team home in Cardiff

More than 100,000 people took to the streets of Cardiff to greet the Welsh football team
home after their historic run at Euro 2016, Friday.
Cardiff's streets were packed with fans wearing Welsh football shirts, waving flags and cheering for Gareth Bale and his teammates, who toured the city in an open-top bus. Fans lined the route to Cardiff City Stadium, where the players came onto the pitch and received a heroes' welcome.
Wales made it through to the semi-finals of Euro 2016, which is the furthest they have gone in a major tournament since the 1958 World Cup.
Wales was out of Euro 2016 after losing 2-0 to Portugal on Wednesday.
