20.02.2016
Dozens of right-wing protesters threw stones at Rinat Akhmetov's 'System Capital Management' office in Kiev on Saturday during an anti-government rally on the second anniversary of the Maidan coup's bloodiest day. Akhmetov is one of the richest men in Ukraine.
Protesters, many of whom were dressed in military fatigues threw rocks at the office, breaking several windows and chanted "Revolution."
Around 20,000 protesters are at Saturday's anti-government rally including members of the Ukrainian National Assembly, the Right Sector and the volunteer battalions.
Right-wingers have already attacked offices of two Russian banks: 'Sberbank' and 'Alpha Bank'.
The Euromaidan protests began on November 21, 2013, and escalated on November 30, leading to the removal from power of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich. More than 100 people, later dubbed the 'Heavenly Hundred,' are believed to have died during violence in Kiev between February 19-21, 2014.
