SOT, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President (Turkish): "We will not stop the action we have taken against the PYD (Democratic Union Party) and YPG (People's Protection Units) which are not even recognised by the Syrian regime. We will not stop, no matter what anyone says."
SOT, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President (Turkish): "Threats are levelled at us from here and there, right now, for us to stop this."
SOT, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President (Turkish): "I've told Mr. (US President Donald) Trump and others, too. If you're going to stop this, stop it. But you haven't stopped it, so we'll take matters into our own hands. We won't take a step back and we will continue this fight until all the terrorists are driven further south from the 32-kilometre border, which Mr. Trump mentioned. They will leave that area."

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed that the military offensive in northern Syria will continue until all "terrorists" are out of the area, while speaking in Ankara on Friday.
"We won't take a step back and we will continue this fight until all the terrorists are driven further south from the 32-kilometre border, which Mr. (US President Donald) Trump mentioned. They will leave that area," said Erdogan.
He added that he won't respond to international threats. "Threats are levelled at us from here and there, right now, for us to stop this. I've told Mr. Trump and others, too. If you're going to stop this, stop it. But you haven't stopped it, so we'll take matters into our own hands."
Erdogan's statements came as US Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin, warned Turkey of potential "powerful sanctions" that would "shut down" its economy if the Turkish offensive goes too far.
Turkey's operation in Kurdish-controlled northern Syria continues, with clashes between advancing Turkish forces and Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) taking place close to Syrian border towns.
