Footage released on Friday shows the residents of Salah-ud-Din district, Aleppo, leaving territories besieged by militant group Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (former al-Nusra Front) through the humanitarian corridors set up by the Russian army.
After passing through the humanitarian corridors, refugees received medical and psychological treatment as well as humanitarian aid. The humanitarian aid packages, dispatched by the Russian Centre for Reconciliation in Syria, include food, toiletries and medicine.
The representative of the Russian Centre for Reconciliation in Syria, Dmitri Bumarskov, said that: "More than 200 people went through the checkpoint. Now they are receiving humanitarian aid which consists of grains, canned meat and fish and so on. After that they will receive medical and psychological assistance."
Russia's Centre for Reconciliation worked in conjunction with Syrian authorities, within the Syrian conflict, to open three humanitarian corridors that are to be used by residents and surrendering rebel militants.
