British actress Tilda Swinton alongside her daughter Honor Swinton Byrne and director and producer Joanne Hogg, presented their film 'The Souvenir' at the Berlinale film festival in the German capital on Tuesday.
Swinton commended the style of working without a script as "truly authentic." When asked about a possible career in film, her daughter and co-star Honor replied that she is not planning to be a professional actress. Instead she plans to study psychology and neuro-science in Edinburgh. Tilda Swinton added that she herself doesn't identify as an actress, supporting her daughter's statement.
The Souvenir is a film about a film student in the early '80s, who becomes romantically involved with a complicated and untrustworthy man. The film won the World Cinema Dramatic Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and will have its European premiere in the Panorama section of the Berlinale film festival.
