Greece: Putin and Tsipras oversee signing of multiple agreements

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras oversaw the signing of several mutual political and trade agreements in Athens, Friday, after the two leaders had previously met for around three hours.
Among the documents signed is an agreement on the main conditions of oil and petroleum product supply. On the Russian side, the agreement was signed by Igor Sechin, vice-chairman of board of directors of Rosneft and on the Greek side, by the Executive Director of Hellenic Petroleum Grigorios Stergioulis.
Russia’s First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexei Likhachev and Greek Minister of Economy, Infrastructure, Shipping and Tourism Giorgos Stathakis signed a mutual declaration on partnership in the interests of modernisation.
According to reports, around ten deals were signed on Friday including in the spheres of science and technology, tourism, meteorology as well as a declaration on dialogue on international and regional issues of mutual interest between the two nations.
