At least three people died, one an 11-year-old, when a shell hit their residential building in Gorlovka, Tuesday. Four other people were injured in the attack, according to Deputy Defence Minister of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DNR/DPR) Eduard Basurin. The attack is being attributed to the Ukrainian military by officials of the DNR. The shelling is proof, according to Basurin, that Ukraine is not abiding by the Minsk agreements as it illustrates that heavy artillery - banned in the Minsk accords - is still within 50km (31 miles) of the town. The attack has been reported to the OSCE. Since the conflict broke in the east of Ukraine more than 6,000 people have been killed and over 15,000 injured, according the UN's human rights office.
