Samsung presented its Quantum Dot (QD) TV screens at the IFA international consumer electronics trade show in Berlin on Thursday.

It works all the way from the very small screens to the super large ones with resolutions 2K, 4K and 8K."
Apart from quantum dot TVs, Samsung also presented Family Hub, a refrigerator that includes a touchscreen that displays groceries using the interior cameras and allows a consumer to check the condition of groceries with a phone app.
Director of digital appliances at Samsung, Daniel Harvie, described the features of Family Hub, saying that "when you are in the grocery store wondering what is there in the fridge, you can check straight away from your phone and when you are back in the kitchen and you need to buy something, you could turn to the online shopping apps and order right there and then."
