Anti-LGBT protesters attempted to disrupt the final day of the Korea Queer Festival and Gay Pride parade as 20,000 people came out in Seoul, Sunday, to celebrate the US Supreme Court decision to legalise same-sex marriage across all states. Protesters can be seen shouting at the LGBT event attendees through a wall of police officers deployed to prevent clashes. One protester was led away by police but it is unconfirmed as to whether he was officially arrested. Festival goers enjoyed music, waved rainbow flags and held banners reading "marriage equality" while purportedly religious anti-LGBT protesters held signs condemning homosexuality. Around 6,000 people also participated in an hour-long pride parade in the heart of the capital to mark the finale of the annual Korea Queer Festival, which began on 9 June.
