Droves of Manchester United fans flocked to China's Olympic Sport centre to watch the team's training session with new manager Jose Mourinho, ahead of their friendly clash against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in Beijing, Sunday.
Speaking to journalists before the training session, Mourinho insisted that there was no reason he would not shake Guardiola's hand, despite the long-running feud that started when both managers were rivals in the Spanish league.
"We worked together in Barcelona for three years, we were opponents in other clubs. But we are just professionals and we have a normal relationship so why shouldn't we shake hands? I don't see the reason for the question," stated Mourinho.
The match between the Manchester rivals is scheduled to take place in China's National Stadium, popularly known as the Bird's Nest, on Monday.
