SOT, Ernesto Valverde, FC Barcelona manager (Spanish): "Obviously we like to win all the time. But it's also true that there were special circumstances around this game. This week is a special week, because we played a very intense game last Wednesday, the trip was long and we have the return leg on Tuesday. So, taking into account the schedule and the points difference in La Liga I thought it was the right moment to make changes. There were many changes and many debuts. We also changed our style of play based on the players available to us, there were also those who played out of position, like Malcom, and others who made their debut as in the case of Wague. I thought we would have some success with three centre-backs. Speaking generally, there were difficulties all over the pitch. Huesca were playing for their life out there. You always think you can do your best, but we're happy because it was a difficult match for us."
SOT, Ernesto Valverde, FC Barcelona manager (Spanish): "I repeat the circumstances surrounding the game were not normal. Clearly, if we hadn't won against Atletico Madrid last week then today would have been different in terms of the team selection, although I don't know if the result would have been different. That's an unknowable. You always think you can improve. There are times when you think you can change the system of playing, you hand lots of players debuts, from the B side, take a starter out and replace him with someone who hasn't played yet, that will create difficulties. This is the first division and you have to play at that level. In that sense, could we have played better? Yes, but we are also pleased with the starting eleven."

FC Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde said he was pleased with a goalless draw at bottom side Huesca after making wholesale changes to the starting eleven on Saturday.
"Obviously we like to win all the time. But it's also true that there were special circumstances around this game," explained Valverde.
He took the view that the second-leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Manchester United on Tuesday and an 11-point lead over second-placed Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga meant it was the "right moment" to make changes.
