Several disparate groups of protesters rallied outside the Reichstag building in Berlin on Sunday to show their opposition to the ongoing peace conference on Libya in the German capital.
Kurdish activists holding a range of Kurdish flags, including those of the People's Protection Units (YPG) and the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), protested the presence of Turkish President Tayyip Recep Erdogan.
Berlin's Algerian community mobilised against Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune who is taking part in the conference.
A small group of Libyan activists were also seen outside the Reichstag holding placards bearing the slogan "Haftar is a criminal".
The conference is hosted by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and will be attended by Libyan National Army (LNA) commander Khalifa Haftar, UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA) leader Fayez al-Sarraj, as well as by leaders from the US, Russia, Turkey, France, the UK, Italy, the UAE, and numerous African states.
