Anti-racism protesters, including those waving anarchist flags, tried to damage the fence installed to secure the US embassy building in Mexico City, Friday.
People were seen trying to climb over the fence, while others were hitting it, with Molotov cocktail and projectiles seen thrown behind the fence.
The protest was reportedly sparked by the killing of bricklayer, Giovanni Lopez while in police custody in the state of Jalisco on May, 5, as well as by the killing of George Floyd, a black US citizen, who died at the hands of police in Minneapolis in May.
