Workers from the Russian Ministry of Emergencies (EMERCOM) continued to search for bodies in the wreckage of the Russian Airbus A321 in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula, Wednesday. An official from EMERCOM confirmed that the bodies of several victims had been found during the day. "As the result of the processing of this area, behind me, the bodies of dead people were found. Of course they are badly burned, almost incinerated. [Finding the bodies] was the reason to restart searching in this region. Right now we have found some new remains of the dead during our search," he said. EMERCOM workers have also begun to remove small sections of the plane to allow them to search the wreckage further, however larger sections of the plane must remain as they are until the investigation into the crash has been carried out. Kogalymavia (Metrojet) flight 7K9268 crashed in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula around 23 minutes after take-off on Saturday, killing everyone on board. The passenger plane was heading to Saint Petersburg from Sharm el-Sheikh when it broke up in the air. The wreckage of the aircraft was scattered over a vast area of the Sinai Peninsula. There were a total of 224 people on board the Russian commercial plane - 217 passengers, including 25 children and seven crew members. Reports indicate that all but five passengers - four Ukrainians and one Belarusian - were Russian.
