A clothing and accessories line launched in the name of drug kingpin Joaquin 'el Chapo' Guzman was presented in the Mexican city of Guadalajara, footage filmed on Friday shows.
The brand, which was named 'El Chapo 701' and was helmed by his daughter Alejandrina Guzman Salazar, pays tribute to the number the drug dealer reached on the richest men list by Forbes Magazine.
Sweaters, shirts, caps and other accessories such as belts were showcased.
'El Chapo 701' spokesperson Adriana Ituarte explained that an online auction would take place for special edition items from the new brand.
"There will be 700 pieces for the general audience, and piece number 701 will be made in gold and auctioned. All the earnings go toward Alejandrina's charity to help people with addictions."
Alejandrina Guzman's collection comes at a time when 'el Chapo' has regained popularity after being convicted of international distribution of heroin and cocaine as well as use of firearms and money laundering in February.
