Two people were killed and 12 more injured after a mortar attack on the Turkish village of Taslica, near the border with Syria, on Tuesday.
Footage shows the scene of the attack as well as ambulances taking victims to a hospital in the nearby town of Kiziltepe.
According to the office of the province's governor, the attack was carried out by members of the Kurdish People's Protection Units (YPG), which are part of the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
On October 9, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the beginning of a military operation in north-eastern Syria dubbed 'Operation Peace Spring'. Ankara says the aim of the Turkish offensive is to create a 'safe zone' cleared of Kurdish groups.
The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and the SDF struck a deal on Sunday that has resulted in SAA forces deploying to northern Syria in order to defend against the ongoing Turkish military operation.
