19.08.2015
The museum dedicated to the militias of the Donetsk and Lugansk so-called Peoples' Republics continued collecting artefacts and building its exhibits, in St. Petersburg, Wednesday. The Museum Novorossia opened its doors to mark Victory Day on May 10, just 24 hours after the event. The idea is the brainchild of Herman Vladimirov and shows a variety of different items from rebel flags and insignia, to camouflage fatigues and religious symbols. The centrepiece is the mock-up of a street which still has an unexploded shell stuck in the concrete. The museum's opening was attended by a number of notable figures who support the cause of the anti-Kiev administrations in eastern Ukraine. Among them were the Head of the Associates of Novorossia organisation Dmitri Babich, as well as representatives of the organisation of Russian Officers in St. Petersburg.
