Twister Kills 10 in Mexico Border City

A tornado raged through a Mexico border city early Monday, destroying homes, flinging cars like matchsticks and ripping an infant from its mother's arms. The baby was missing after the twister sent its infant carrier flying. Authorities said at least 10 people were killed. In Texas, 12 people were reported missing after flash flooding from a line of storms that stretched from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes. Rescue workers began digging through the rubble of damaged homes for more victims of the tornado that hit Ciudad Acuna, a city of 125,000 across from Del Rio, Texas, shortly after daybreak.
