Press gathered outside a bar belonging to Ibrahim Abdeslam, the brother of Salah Abdeslam, in Brussels, Monday. Both men are suspected of being involved in Friday's attacks on Paris that left 129 dead. Authorities reportedly closed 'Les Beguines' on November 4 in connection with an investigation into drug trafficking. Belgian authorities have widened the manhunt for Salah Abdeslam, who was stopped by French police following the attacks, but not detained, as the intelligence linking him to the so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) was not made available to the police. He is reportedly still on the loose. Earlier on Monday, Belgian special forces raided the home of Salah and Ibrahim Abdeslam. During the investigation police snipers were deployed on the roofs of nearby buildings while several members of the Belgian special units checked the house. Press and observers were not allowed to approach the street. At least 129 people were killed and more than 349 left injured, 99 critically, after a series of coordinated attacks were carried out at six different locations across Paris on Friday evening. At least 87 of those victims were killed after gunmen opened fire during a concert at the Bataclan theatre, taking dozens hostage before detonating suicide bombs. Police stormed the venue, freeing the hostages and killing one of the attackers. Dozens more were killed in attacks at the French national stadium and a string of popular bars and restaurants. The so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack.
