Protesters from the pressure group The Syria Campaign have piled up some 800 mannequin limbs outside the Russian Embassy in London, to protest against their actions in the war torn country, Thursday.
One protester, Bissan Fakih, explained that the mannequins were "symbolic of the carnage in Syria" and that "with Russian illegal weapons like cluster bombs or like missiles, they rain down on homes, they're quite horrific. They explode into shrapnel, they shred people's bodies and they tear families apart."
She also said that "Syrian activists have put out an SOS call, they're very afraid of military assaults happening this weekend because people have been leafletted, and there has been a massive military deployment." She added "we are here to tell the Russian embassy that we are watching."
