Several refugees were detained by Hungarian security officials in Roszke, Tuesday night, after allegedly entering the country without documents meaning they are liable to be arrested. The Hungarian government decided to officially close the country's border with Serbia earlier in the day. The refugees can be heard telling an official that they have been at the spot they were found for a "couple of hours" after he explained the "new law" to them. The government has increased the military presence at the frontier with Serbia, deploying soldiers and installing a razor-wire fence. Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Monday told Hungary's TV2 station that a state of emergency was "likely" to be introduced in the border area.
