SOT, Yang Xinmin, bodybuilder (Mandarin): "My suggestion to people who want to start body building is that safety is always the first consideration - follow a scientific plan. You need to do it step by step. You always need a trainer to help you. For your diet, you need to keep the balance between protein, carbohydrate, fat and other elements."

Yang Xinmin is not your typical Chinese septuagenarian, as shown in footage of him working out in Sanya, Hainan Island on Wednesday.
Taking inspiration from the movies of Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1980s, he became one of China's first bodybuilders. Now, 35 years later, he's not slowing down one bit, as he looks to inspire others to take up the sport.
"My bodyshape, muscle strength and power are better than most young people, although I am 70-years-old now." he said.
He cautions that he results didn't come overnight, but from years of dedicated training and a balanced diet.
