The amazing talent of Ashley’s was first discovered at the incredibly young age of three by her current manager Bill Perlman while at a shopping mall with her family. She scored her first acting appearances in stage productions such as Gypsy a Musical Fable and The Sound of Music at the Jewish Community Centre of Monmouth County and also performed for president Bill Clinton at the W*******e House at the age of 12. Ashley scored her big break when she was cast in the role of Maddie Fitzpatrick on the ******* Disney Channel television series The Suit Life of Zack and Cody though the role did come with a few minor changes to her look Ashley was not always a blond and is in fact naturally brunette with curly hair and was made her change her look to the blond haired girl you see today when she first got the role. Ashley was later cast in the Disney Channel original movie High School Musical, staring along side Zac Efron and Vanessa Anne Hudgens, which soon became a major success after its premiere on January 20, 2006. Ashley originally auditioned for the role of Gabriella Montez but was instead cast as Sharpey Evans; the role required her to sing three songs witch all appeared in the Billboard Hot 100. Ashley just recently signed a contract with Staples, inc. to appear in the companies’ promotional campaign for the "Geared 4 School" sweepstakes that fall.
