Saudi Arabia: AC Milan coach Gattuso has regrets after Super Cup loss to Juventus

Milan head coach Rino Gattuso said he has regrets about Wednesday's Italian Super Cup match against Juventus in Jeddah, which Milan lost 1-0 to Juventus.
"The performance remains, but it's useless to go and look for alibis. If there were mistakes, I'll leave it to you to judge, but there is some regret, because we could have done something and better. Seeing Juve leaving you 4-5 balls in the open field, 4 players against 4 players or 5 players against 5 players, [it means] we were not good [enough] to make something out of that. But it remains a good performance, even though the defeat bugs us," Gattuso said.
Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri expressed his satisfaction at his team's performance, despite saying they could have played better: "This evening we met a good Milan, we played a good first half, in the second half we took some do-over on some lost ball, we could have closed [the match] and closed it better, but I would say that the important thing is to bring the trophy back home."
Juventus defeated Milan 1-0, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring the winner in a tight game marred by controversial refereeing decisions.
