Syria: Heavy gunfire rips through W. Aleppo as battle for Minian continues

The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) attempted to solidify its hold the village of Minian, just west of Aleppo, against Jaish al-Fateh militants, Thursday.
An alliance of militant groups seized control of large parts of Minian on October 29 as part of a wider offensive to lift the siege on opposition-controlled areas in the city's east.
Aleppo is facing some of the fiercest battles it has seen since the beginning of the conflict, following the collapse of the city's ceasefire and the Russia-US peace deal.
