UK: Forensic officers examine body of stabbing victim in central London

Forensic officers arrived at Russell Square, in central London, early on Thursday morning, to examine the body of a woman who was killed in a mass stabbing late on Wednesday evening. Following initial examination, the body was removed from the scene in a private ambulance.
The police were called to the Russell Square at 22:33 local time (21:23 GMT), where, according to London Metropolitan Police, a man was seen stabbing people with a knife. Despite the efforts of paramedics, the woman succumbed to her injuries on scene. Six other people were also wounded in the attack.
Police reported that they arrested the suspected attacker at the scene; terrorism is being explored as a possible motive.
