Hundreds of tattoo enthusiasts queued in London's Covent Garden, Friday, for the chance to be tattooed by renowned tattooist Scott Campbell.
The event included a prize draw in which winners were given a mystery tattoo by Campbell, who was operating from behind a dividing wall at the Whole Glory popup studio. Participants thrust their arm through a hole in the wall and were worked on, while having no idea what the finished tattoo would look like.
Competition winner Holly Gordon was pleasantly surprised with her tattoo; an eye atop a pyramid, saying "I can't have asked for more basically so yeah, just over the moon." Fellow winner, Nidhi Modi, was also happy with her tattoo; a skeletal hand holding a daisy.
Outside hundreds of other Campbell fans continued their wait. Participant Aaron Reeves praised Campbell's creativity, stating "It's just a fantastic idea, you're a piece of art at the end of the day, you're an installation."
