Renault unveiled its new Trezor GT electric car at the 2016 Paris Motor Show at the Porte de Versailles exhibition centre on Friday.
Trezor GT is of 4700mm (15,4ft) in length and 1080mm (3,5ft) in height, making it one of the lowest vehicles on the road.
The electric power train is derived from the Renault Formula E DAMS team race car. It comes with two batteries, one front and one rear, as well two electric motors that can generate a combined output of 345bhp and 380 Nm of torque. The vehicle can reportedly accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in less than four seconds.
Trezor two-seater GT also boasts a number of OLED touchscreens, which allow the user to access the menus and controls.
Renault's technical manager, Manuel Mangold, stated that there is no estimated price for the electric car, noting that the car's design is a "breakthrough" and that "there is no intent to sell it. It's kind of 'trezor' ['treasure'], as it's called, so it's not estimable."
