Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton held her final rally in North Carolina at the State University in Raleigh, on Monday night. Clinton was supported by her husband, former president Bill Clinton, daughter, Chelsea Clinton as well as singers Jon Bon Jovi and Lady Gaga.
In reference to Bon Jovi's hit song, 'Living on a Prayer,' Clinton told the audience "And you know between now and the time the poll closes tomorrow we are going to be living on a prayer."
With the crowd in a buoyant mood, Clinton continued, stating "When my opponent says every time I talk about these issues, that I am playing the women's card, well you know what I say, deal me in."
The former First Lady concluded by repeating her slogan "love trumps hate," to the cheers of her supporters.
During the rally both Lady Gaga and Jon Bon Jovi performed and lent their support to the Democratic presidential nominee, with the former exclaiming "go out and vote for Hillary Clinton. I think it's time to come to Mama."
More than 120 million Americans are expected to cast their vote for the 45th president of the United States. Timings vary for each state: voting will get underway in earnest on the East Coast from 11:00 GMT, and will close between midnight and 01:00 GMT on November 9. The earliest possible time the result could come in is Tuesday at 04:00 am GMT.
Clinton holds a slim lead by 2.6 points at 46.9, compared with the 44.3 of Republican nominee Donald Trump, according to the latest polls say.
