Thousands of people hit the streets of Aberdeen on Saturday, in support of Scottish independence.
The pro-independence rally was organised by the campaign group All Under One Banner (AUOB). The rally organisers estimated that more than 12,000 people joined the march, while police put it at around 4-5,000.
Protesters gathered at Albyn Place before proceeding towards Castlegate through Union Street and Castle Street. One pro-independence supporter stressed that "we've been ruled by Westminster far too long," before adding, "I want to see Scotland as an independent country."
The protest was the latest in a string of pro-independence rallies held across Scotland, including in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Ayr.
