Police carried out a controlled explosion during a house raid arresting two men, in Manchester's Cheetham Hill area, early Friday morning, as part of ongoing investigations into Monday's Manchester Arena attack.
Two men reportedly aged 20 and 22 were arrested in the raid conducted on Brideoak Street. The new arrests bring the number of suspects held in custody to 11. Police have cordoned off the area and asking locals for information.
On Monday night, an assailant detonated an explosive device towards the end of a pop concert by US singer Ariana Grande at the Manchester Arena, as attendees were leaving the premises at around 22:35 local time (21:35 GMT).
At least 22, many of them children, were killed and a further 59 injured in the attack. Police believe that there was only one assailant in the stadium, who reportedly died at the scene of the blast after detonating an explosive device.
The self-proclaimed Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) has claimed responsibility.
