Warships from Russia's Northern Fleet conducted live firing drills in the north of the Barents Sea on Thursday, as shown in footage released by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
Video shows the anti-submarine destroyer “Vice-Admiral Kulakov” and two landing ships “Alexander Otrakovsky” and “Kondopoga” taking part in the exercises.
The ships used the anti-aircraft missile systems "Kinzhal," the naval cannons AK-100 and AK-725, as well as their AK-630 close-range point defence systems, which were targeting a conventional enemy.
Exercises were held in stormy conditions and included surface and underwater missile launching practice.
