Egypt: Remains of Nobel Prize winner Ahmed Zewail arrive in Cairo

Late Nobel Prize-winning chemist Ahmed Zewail's remains arrived at the Cairo International Airport on Saturday. A funeral with the highest military honours is scheduled to take place on Sunday.
Zewail's wife Dima Alfaham was also seen exiting the departures gate at the terminal building, where she was met by dozens of journalists, before driving away from the airport.
Ahmed Zewail passed away, aged 70, on August 2 in California, following a lengthy bout with cancer. Zewail was a Caltech chemist who won the 1999 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his study of chemical reactions over immensely short time scale. He is known for having an outspoken stance for progress in the aftermath of the Tahrir Square protests in 2011.
