SOT, Angela Merkel, German Chancellor (German): "Great Britain's exit from the European Union is challenging for us. And the aviation industry is a very sensitive instrument. When there are trade tensions you can almost immediately feel it here in Leipzig. That is why I will discuss with Great Britain's Foreign Minister how we can achieve a friction-free Brexit, when he comes visiting me later as we must fight for economic growth."
