USA: Japanese PM Abe touches down in Washington for nuclear summit

A Japanese delegation headed by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe arrived at Andrews Air Force Base outside Washington D.C. on Wednesday for the fourth Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) which kicks off on Thursday.
According to the White House, Abe is planning to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama and South Korean President Park Geun-hye to discuss North Korea's nuclear program on Thursday.
Obama will host leaders from 56 nations and organizations for the Nuclear Security Summit, including French President Francois Hollande, British Prime Minister David Cameron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi.
The Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) is a world summit that aims to prevent nuclear terrorism around the globe. It is now in its fourth year, and will be held in Washington, D.C. on Thursday and Friday.
