Large convoys of humanitarian supplies arrived at seven besieged locations in the Damascus Province, Wednesday, as the Syrian government continues to simplify procedures for the movement of aid convoys.
The footage captured humanitarian aid convoys of Red Crescent and of the UN arriving at the towns of Madaya, Fua, Kafraya, Muadamia and Zabadani. According to the Red Crescent, the trucks are carrying food, medical supplies and milk.
"The humanitarian operation continues and we hope that it will be repeated monthly. Today we deliver aid, which in a month will benefit 42,000 people in Madaya and about 1,000 people in Zabadani," a Red Crescent's representative stated.
The delivery of aid and supplies was agreed as part of the "cessation of hostilities" last week at the International Syria Support Group Meeting in Munich during the Security Conference.
