Thousands of Brazilians took to the streets of Sao Paulo on Saturday to protest election frontrunner and right-wing candidate Jair Bolonsaro.
Protesters can be seen waving placards and flags, dancing, brandishing flares.
One of the protesters, Marco Antonio Galvao, explained why he was attending the rally against Bolsonaro.
"I think we lost democracy, it began to be threatened already in the coup against former President Dilma Roussef, since that time democracy was already at risk, today even more," he said.
Bolsonaro won 46 percent of the vote in the first round of voting on October 7, with Fernando Haddad of the leftist Workers' Party (PT) coming second with 30 percent. The second round of the election is scheduled for October 28.
