SOT, Maurizio Sarri, Juventus head coach (Italian): "I saw the club very determined. I have never seen a club so determined to take a coach in [the] 30 years of [my] career. And this is the real reason that convinced me: the determination of the whole management, very united, wanting me."

SOT, Maurizio Sarri, Juventus head coach (Italian): "I arrive with scepticism, like everywhere. I arrived in Empoli from the Serie C and they were all sceptical. I arrived in Naples from Empoli and [they] were sceptical. At Chelsea they were sceptical. I arrive at Juve from Chelsea and I think the jump could be less sensational: I come from my story, I come from the other side and it is right there is a bit of bitterness and scepticism. I have only one way to fight scepticism: win and convince."

SOT, Maurizio Sarri, Juventus head coach (Italian): "In Italy Juve has the obligation to be the favourite, then if we enter the Champions League topic, it is clear that Juve must start to win, but with the knowledge that there are 8-9 teams that have the same strength. It has an obligation to try, but it can unfortunately understand that there is the possibility of not winning. At the start the goal is to win."

SOT, Maurizio Sarri, Juventus head coach (Italian): "I tell you something. When I leave the San Paolo stadium, if they applaud me it will be a manifestation of love. If they whistle me, it will be a manifestation of love as well. I will love them anyway."
