Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders claimed victory in the Nevada caucus during a rally in San Antonio on Saturday. With more than 43 percent of the precincts reported, the Vermont senator is holding a large lead.
"All of you know we won the popular vote in Iowa, we won the New Hampshire primary and according to three networks in the AP we have now won the Nevada caucus," said Sanders, before thanking his voters and grassroots-movements that supported him.
"In Nevada, we have just put together a multi-generational, multi-racial coalition. Which is going to, not only win in Nevada, it is going to swing this country," he added.
Latest reports show Democratic hopeful Biden in second position with 19.2 percent of the votes, followed by fellow candidates Pete Buttigieg (15.4 percent) and Elisabeth Warren (10.3 percent).
