Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban met with European Parliament President Martin Schulz to discuss the European refugee crisis in Brussels, on Thursday. Orban said that the refugee crisis "is not a European problem. The problem is German." "Nobody would like to stay in Hungary, neither in Slovakia, Poland or Estonia. All of them would like to go to Germany," he added. Moreover, the Hungarian Parliament is now working on new regulations which include building a wall in order to stem refugee flows into country. The new regulations will be in place by September 15, he confirmed. According to Orban, only a border fence can change the situation around refugee crisis in Europe. Schulz suggested that the only option for a resolution is for all 28 European Union member states to unite. There are 507 million inhabitants across member states and, according to Schulz, if 500,000 refugees were distributed among 507 million, there would not be a "problem." While Orban and Schulz were speaking to reporters, thousands of refugees had flooded into the main train station in Budapest after police re-opened it for limited travel and the first train with refugees had left Budapest to Austria. The number of migrants entering Europe is at record levels, with 107,500 displaced people arriving in the month of July alone.
