SOT, Sudhakar, Founder of local car museum: "The only person in the world who has made so many wacky cars. This is my 55th car design. I make cars for the occasion, and I make cars for the cause, cigarette *INAUDIBLE* to quit smoking, condom *INAUDIBLE* for aids awareness, bird cage car, not to cage birds, helmet cars aids safety. I made this coronavirus car. This coronavirus car has a 100 cc engine, six wheels, one seater [single seat] and it can run at 40 kmph. This car is going to go around the town and leave a clear message: if you're wrong, this car will catch you. And be aware of it. The lockdown is very important and it's a global problem. Please, be at home."

A coronavirus-themed car drove around the city of Hyderabad to raise awareness of the novel epidemic on Wednesday, as the country remains under lockdown for 21 days to curb the epidemic outbreak.
Sudhakar, the founder of a local car museum, built the car in an attempt to show other citizens the importance of social distancing and self isolation during the lockdown. "I make cars for the occasion, and I make cars for the cause," he said. "This car is going to go around the town and leave a clear message: if you're wrong, this car will catch you. And be aware of it. The lockdown is very important and it's a global problem. Please, be at home," he concluded.
According to Sudhakar, the corona-car can reach 40 km/h (24 mp/h) and it took ten days to be built with a clear message: not to come out of the house.
On March 24, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a three-week nationwide lockdown following a spike in COVID-19 cases.
As of Wednesday, India has over 5,749 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 178 fatalities, according to numbers compiled by Johns Hopkins University.
