Iraqi Officials: Separate Attacks In, Outside Baghdad Kill at Least 9 People

Officials say separate attacks in and outside the capital, Baghdad, have killed at least nine people. Police say the deadliest of Tuesday's attacks took place in the town of Tarmiyah when three suicide bombers tried to attack a military headquarters, killing at least four soldiers and wounding 14 others. The town is about 50 kilometers (30 miles) north of Baghdad. And two policemen were killed and five wounded when a bomb struck their patrol in Youssifiyah, 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Baghdad.
