Journalist (in Greek) : "Which means that the lockers will not be accessible even in open branches?)" Mardas (in Greek): "Exactly, otherwise it will not be fair to give access to half the people and not give to the rest." "When it comes to bank lockers -and this is an issue of treating people equally- they will be available in their entirety if all branches reopen,” Deputy Finance Minister Dimitris Mardas said while speaking from Athens, late Sunday. “Otherwise, there will be an issue of unequal treatment,” Mardas added. Over 60 percent of Greeks voted to reject austerity measures in Sunday's referendum, putting the country on a collision course with the Eurozone. Yanis Varoufakis, minister of finance, announced his resignation on Monday morning. A Eurogroup meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 8.
